Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Reno, Nevada

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Responsible for assisting internal and external customers with their daily parts requirements by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Assists the Parts Manager with shipping, receiving, and stocking parts.*
  2. Provides quality customer service all physical customers with a timely, accurate, and friendly assistance with all parts call-in orders.*
  3. Responsible for maintaining a high level of proficiency with the DIS/SAP business systems to provide quick and accurate order processing.*
  4. Performs accurate and timely inventory cycle counts.*
  5. Correctly and efficiently ships and receives all orders and purchasing of inventory items.*
  6. Opens and closes parts documents as needed on a daily basis.*
  7. Learns product line features and benefits to be able to quickly search for appropriate parts via the computer.*
  8. Learns and uses commonplace parts descriptions.*
  9. Utilizes company websites and marketing tools for better customer service.*
  10. Communicates effectively and regularly with peers and parts department management.*
  11. Maintains a neat and clean parts counter, parts shelving, and storage facilities.*
  12. Responsible for opening and closing of the facility, as needed.*

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
