KRONE's entry into Remote-Diagnostics
The launch of telemetry units for KRONE machines opens up many new possibilities. In addition to providing agronomic data to the machine owner, there is an opportunity for dealers to set up an extensive qualified service. It was exactly with this approach that the KRONE Smart Support system was developed. We have given dealers the opportunity to view service-relevant data about a machine if the owner gives his approval.
The owner retains ownership of the data
An important element of this is that the machine owner retains ownership of the data. The owner has the opportunity to give his approval independently via mykrone.green to his service partners and also to withdraw it. Of course dealers can use the system for their own machines, for example demo machines, with no restrictions to be able to demonstrate the advantages to their customers plausibly and without restrictions.
Efficient service is the key to success
"Sales sells the first machine – service sells the second" – nearly everyone has heard this saying, and nearly every owner of agricultural machinery would agree.
With the Smart Support system, accessible via mykrone.green, KRONE would like to make it possible for its dealers to offer an end-to-end, efficient and future-oriented service. That is why we want to give our dealers insight into valuable data in this connection, including active error codes, the live location or the service life counters of the machine. This gives dealers the opportunity to respond quickly and make the best possible preparations for the service that will be offered. The overall goal is to keep the downtime of the machine as low as possible and to allow machine owners to make optimum use of their own resources.
