Summary: Responsible for inventory planning and scheduling for all spare parts requirements throughout
the Krone North America distribution network.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Inventory planning and scheduling for parts requirements. Including determination of most costeffective shipping via air freight or by container. Inform Krone Support Team of shipping choiceand estimated arrival date if they are unable to identify this through the system.
2. Plan weekly air freight shipments from backordered parts from all Krone NA shipping points.
3. Identify and create lower cost shipping options for all air and land/sea container shipments whilemeeting customers’ service and stock level date requirements.
4. Review and approve all purchase orders created in Germany.
5. Create a good relationship with Germany’s US planner.
6. Provision for spare parts for all new production machines for all Krone North America distributionpoints. This will require interdepartmental cooperation.
7. Create new part numbers in SAP through US vendors as needed.
8. Build inside lead time purchase orders based on system requirements. Complete purchase ordersthat will then be sent to Germany for processing.
9. Assist Germany with lead time container planning.
10. Create purchase order plans for the Canada distribution points using the SAP/GIB/APO planningsoftware. The PO’s will be sent with the first transfer at the first of every month once approved.
11. Manage Canadian plant parts ordering based on stock levels and need.
12. Identify overstock on hand at the Olive Branch, Reno, and Canadian warehouses using SAPfunctions. Determine proper disposition of overstocked items.
13. Create inter-facility transfer orders based on SAP/GIB/APO planning, current stock levels, andneed.
14. Manage inventory cycle counting for the Olive Branch warehouse location. Research anydiscrepancies, initiate recounts, and finalize adjustments with accounting if needed.
15. Research any discrepancies found during the picking process. Identify root cause of the error, andmake the necessary adjustments in the system to update the orders.
16. Make any K value suggestions to Germany in order for it to be changed. Must be able to clearlyform an argument as to why the classification should be changed.
17. Be able to identify obsolete parts and determine the most cost effective way of disposition; be itscrap, return, update, or keep in inventory. Must go through proper channels, upper levelmanagement, and Germany, to ensure the disposition is approved.
18. Create and maintains all system generated stocking lists using SAP.
19. Be key SAP user for Warehouse Management System for warehouses. Be key user for KroneAmerica’s operating system for parts.
20. Manage parts inventory levels at Krone warehouses.
21. Manage all Krone forklift contracts. This includes purchases, leases, rentals, and PM’s. Approvalneed by manager on purchases of forklifts.
22. Travel to Reno, Canadian, and Germany facilities as needed.
23. Visit top key dealers as needed to discuss Parts Planning and Programs. (Selected by Manager)
24. Approximately 20% of work time is required for travel nationally and internationally.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram of schedule form.
Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel,SAP, Inventory Panning Software (experience with APO a plus), Order Processing Systems, Project Management Software, Database Software, Microsoft Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Education/Experience: AS/AA Degree with relevant experience considered or BS/BA Degree preferred.
Certificates and Licenses: Valid driver's license Valid Passport for International Travel
Equipment: Forklift experience preferred
